About Us
The Marijuana Project is an evolving group of medical marijuana patients, lawyers, and activists who are working to represent the interests of medical marijuana patients in Washington State. If you fit into any of those categories, feel free to consider yourself a part of it.
Formally, the Marijuana Project is affiliated with and supported by the law office of Douglas Hiatt and the November Coalition. Douglas has been defending medical marijuana patients across Washington State for over a decade--since before Washington had a medical marijuana law. The November Coalition was founded in 1997 to advocate against the drug war and its destructive effects, and to advocate on behalf of drug war prisoners.
